Futari with the teachers, students and Guy (Mussa)

This is the month of Ramadan, the Muslims all around the world fast from dawn to dusk, as they are not allowed to taste anything until nightfall. Zanzibits students organized a dinner party as part of their Islamic culture during this holy month. As it happened in the last year class and this year too, Guy asked Mbarak and Salama to give the desired menu and all costs. The students proposed the menu of the dinner party for the day. Many dishes were Swahili dishes, which ranged from cereals foods, banana, yams, octopus soup, with sides of salads, bread, chapatia an sweet cakes. The cooking of the food was upon the students themselves, especially girls, as they can cook better than the boys.

The ongoing class of PHP was invited for the dinner, as well as the administrator of the Alriyami building. It is normally for Muslims to invite each other, as we believe that when you invite some one in something like food you get the blessing from God. Dinner was served at six thirty. Everyone was happy and party ended at eight.

Thanks for some great cooking, everyone.
