Zanzibits almumni on the ball

Bringing opportunities and means for Zanzibari youth within computer training, ZanziBits is coming to its own and enjoying an increasingly fine reputation for educating skilled graphic designers, web developers and tutors.

Last week the website for one of the largest English schools in Zanzibar, Sreeter’s Skilled School, was inaugurated on the school’s graduation day. Designed by ZanziBits alumni Shaibu Othman Khamis, it was presented by him to among others, the guest of honour Mr Pandu Ameir Kificho, the Speaker of the House of Representatives for Zanzibar. The Speaker was very impressed to see how the youth of the island are improving their skills and are active within expert fields such as this. Stressing the importance of education in the world, he was happy to see that there were options for learning also through various non- governmental organizations and education centres.
