The Zanzibits Club

Last week, Mr. Farid, a good friend of Zanzibits, the owner of the Stone Town Cultural Centre, better known as the second wonder of Zanzibar, asked Suleiman, our caretaker, to call the past student of Zanzibits who have not yet found a job for a meeting at his shop. He had a plan to give them some ideas about what they can do now, to be busy and use their acquired knowledge, which is better than to stay on their home without doing anything.

Mr Farid advised them to sit down together and think about what they can do to unite themselves to still be a members of the Zanzibits family. Together they decided on forming a group that they called the ZANZIBITS CLUB, which will have the function to helping each other find a job. Of course Zanzibits will participate in this club, and we are now looking to see what the possibilities are.

He also advised them that they should have plan a weekly meeting to discuss what happens between them, practice their skills together, such as flash, Photoshop and Dreamweaver, and to shear each other idea’s about their future.

Farid. Thanks for this very good initiative. We have been so busy with preparing for the new batch that his is a very welcome help. It is a logical step for our alumni, and we will be working together for a long time to come.
