Eid Mubarak in style!

Happy Eid Mubarak to all our families, friends and relatives in Zanzibar, and around the world. Part of our programs here at Zanzibits is to foster good relationship with our neighbors either in community work, field excursions, IT sector etc.

Today being Friday ‘ Fun day’ both the students and staff of Zanzibits and Al_riyami academy ( our host where our school is based) organized a football friendly match which was much advertised from all corners of stone town with each side predicting the scores.

There is this saying that says and I quote “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. This is another activity that strengthens our good relationship that has been there between the Zanzibits staff, Zanzibits students and our host Al_riyami academy.

These are words from Wilson Masaka the trainer from Kenya “Since I came here in Zanzibar, I have seen lots of potential in the youth and given the avenues in years to come Zanzibar will be in the international platform in football”.

In evaluating interest and hobbies, most of our current students like football and they played part in organizing the match between, Zanzibits V/S Al_riyami, which Zanzibits emerged winners by defeating Al_riyami 4 – 1.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the football exchange activity today and in a special way, thanks to our alumni, our friends from Daraja bovu and Bubu Bubu.
